Our founder, Marco Villanueva, left his family's pizzeria in Naples, Italy to bring authentic marco's pizza to the sunny shores of Marco Island, Florida. Marcos Opens Its Doors

Marco Villanueva opens the first Marcos location at 740 N Collier Blvd, Marco Island, FL. The restaurant features just 8 tables and a single wood-fired oven, serving classic marco's pizza recipes passed down through three generations.

2014
Best New Restaurant Award

Just two years after opening, Marcos wins "Best New Restaurant on Marco Island" from the Collier County Dining Guide. The marcos pizza reputation spreads across Southwest Florida, drawing guests from Naples, Bonita Springs, and beyond.

2016
Expansion & Renovation

Growing demand leads to a full restaurant expansion — doubling seating capacity, adding a dedicated catering kitchen, and launching an online ordering system. The Marcos brand begins offering its first corporate catering packages.

Catering & Events Launch

Marcos officially launches its full-service catering division, serving weddings, corporate events, and private parties across Collier County. Signature marcos pizza catering packages become one of Southwest Florida's most requested services.
